TURMERIC CHAI LATTE

For anyone with chronic pain and inflammation, 

turmeric is an excellent addition to your diet.

Protecteur gastro-intestinal et puissant anti-inflammatoire, le curcuma révèle bien d'autres vertus que son simple usage alimentaire. Il soigne les troubles digestifs, apaise les douleurs dues aux gastrites et autres inflammations de l'intestin et joue un rôle protecteur pour l'estomac et le foie. Le curcuma pourrait bien s'avérer, de plus, très efficace dans la prévention de certains cancers. 

Ingredients

1. chai tea (rooibos, green, black, or herbal variety)
2. 1/4 cup cashews, preferably soaked in pure water for 1-2 hours
3. 2 medjool dates, pitted
4. 1/8 tsp cinnamon
5. 1 inch piece turmeric root, or 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
6. 1/2 inch piece ginger root, or 1/8 tsp ground ginger
7. pinch black pepper

Instructions

1. Brew one cup of chai tea.
2. Add tea and remaining ingredients to blender.
3. Blend until smooth and frothy.
4. Enjoy!
